Robot's Workshop: Episode 64 - I'm now working at LEGOLAND.

So yeah, I'm working at LEGOLAND California, the first LEGOLAND opened in America, and located in Carlsbad. It was, in fact, a childhood dream job of mine. Technically, I planned to be one of those model builders. Who wouldn't want to build LEGO models for a living? But that would require me to go to college and get an engineering degree.

If I could go back in time, and tell my 8... 9 year-old self "Hey, you're gonna be working at LEGOLAND within the next two decades.", I would. Unless that ends up affecting the timeline to where I don't, because I disappointed my younger self to the point he gave up on that dream. Besides, I get a pretty good discount on most days. Better than the annual passes.

Yesterday was Bionicle Day, as August 10th is unofficially dubbed. Plenty of fans celebrating the theme on this day. I grew up collecting Bionicle sets, and even got the GWP LEGO released. That's the acronym for Gift With Purchase. Anyway, I drew Tahu. I love the fire sword.

I... uhhh... I think I misread the instructions.

Some slightly lazier, but my Monster Monday entry for the theme of Avians is Eris from LEGO Legends of Chima. One of their older LEGO themes that had great sets, but the show did not live up to the standards of Ninjago. (Funny enough, it did end up being canon to Ninjago.)
