Robot's Workshop: Episode 61 - Slime Time and Dreaming

 I may have only one, but I do have possibly the coolest thing for a series that has yet to release the LEGO sets for, that series in particular is called LEGO DREAMZzz™. That's right, Monster Monday prompted slimes. Conveniently, I knew of a slime character in a new LEGO theme already, so I got that going for me... which is nice. It's a little disappointing the sets won't come out until August 1st, but alas...

I guess I'll have to make do with what's on LEGO's official website. But I did indeed do something awesome. I liked drawing this. It was indeed fun.

The character variant featured here is in set 71454 - Mateo and Z-Blob the Robot. For lore context, Z-Blob is this character that one of the main characters, Mateo, draws for his comic book. Unfortunately, he lacks a mouth, and cannot speak. In the dream world, he is brought to life, and accidentally is brought into the real world. While I still think that making this would be easier with the set in hand, I think this is AWESOME!

My favorite detail is this mushroom, which you can see looks like a 2x2 dish piece on top of a cone brick.
