Robot's Workshop: Episode 58 - Brick-Like

Ok, I forgotten to post something I made for Roosevelt many moons ago, a new robot OC for him.

Another big G robot, Caesar the firefighting robot. My main inspiration was the LEGO City Fire Emergency sets made in recent years, utilizing a new "Highlighter/Neon Yellow"color, or its official name, Vibrant Yellow.

The head is inspired by the LEGO Firefighter Respiration Helmet.
The blaster cannon is inspired by this big missile launcher piece LEGO is using in lieu of the old spring-loaded shooters, and here you can see
And then took some foot and armor design from the LEGO Hero Factory sets.

Really, I just gave myself an excuse to do more LEGO.
Speaking of...

I have finally finished a submission to the Bricklink Designer Program Series 2!
I call this The Coffee Spot, Kind of like your Starbucks or Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
We've a parking lot with disabled parking. There's also a trash can and a fire hydrant, too.
You can either buy a fresh cup of joe, or a bite to eat.
Or buy a reusable mug.

Here are the would be decals for the coffee chain.
I thought a nice green would sell for a natural vibe.

You might recall I made this Handicap sign which realistically speaking, wouldn't work, so
I remade it into this down below.

I have also made a version that is used for the sign.

Also, Monster Monday is back. We have BioMechanical as the theme, and that gave me the perfect excuse to do Bionicle, a LEGO product line I hold near and dear to my heart. I also decide to be a silly goober and combine it with the Sonic Adventure pose. So here's 8605-Matau doing the SA 1 pose.
Because why not? I'll flippin' do it again!

I think I have this set somewhere in my boxes.
And of course, the pose is so perfectly iconic, I definitely didn't need to post this reference here.
