Robot's Workshop: Episode 68 - Sluggish Week

 I haven't done a whole lot on account of some of my week being taken up by other work, which I need to save up for a new computer. Since the laptop I have is eight years old, give or take. I need a new rig/laptop that can handle the newer games.

That being said, I do have concepts for a submission for the Epic Mega Jam, whether or not the prizes may help is beyond me, given my current situation. Since the prompt was "Antiquated Future", the team I'm on is going for an Egyptian style Sci-Fi. That means everything has to look somewhat like Ancient Egypt, but it's all technologically advanced, like five centuries ahead, perhaps.

Using this A.I. generated image, I can probably imagine what the area may look like. Maybe the nations/countries are their own planets.

I sketched an idea of some of the machinery that they may use on this planet. On the left is an Obelisk Laser Drill. Complete with a communication beacon and and articulated mining laser. The Mining Silo on the right loads the silo for storage until some truck comes along to collect the minerals.

That being said, I'm thinking I'd try to post on Wix again, but I'd need to clean out the storage on that account and make some kind of media archive. Where I would do that is beyond me.
